you need the sfs extractor and the imf viewer
you need to extract the f4u cockpits and you need to convert their tga files to readable format w the imf viewer
what you can quickly tell from the filelist.txt of the sfs extractor is which files could be related to glass
so you dont need to convert them all
3do\Cockpit\F4U-1\glass.mat
3do\Cockpit\F4U-1\Glass.tga
3do\Cockpit\F4U-1\glass_In.mat
3do\Cockpit\F4U-1\glassholes.mat
3do\Cockpit\F4U-1\GlassHoles.tga
simply replacing glass.tga might also work but its better to look at the file first because its may mapped in a different way than other planes
Ok, ill have that in mind, i was just testing different configurations and converting the files to jpeg to check them out, now the exact feauture i want to use its the scratched glass, not the one with the "reflections" -seen in the screen shot-.
I tested the textures on the La-5FN and i couldnt see the scratches till i switched the file names, then i could see some scratches on the canopy but then the pattern of the "reflections" crowded the canopy reducing visibility.
I only want the scratches and i would like to add them to all the aircrafts (mostly to the BF-109) so the glass doesnt seem empty.
Oh! another thing, where are the sfs files located? (its my first time messing with this)
Thanks for replying so fast, ill try that right away.
Cheers!
