Yes, a rear-gunner would be a great idea!  :)

Thanks a lot mate!

Those kind of planes were very useful in the Pacific!!!

Any of them and any update of them are really welcomed!

Thank you very much !
But... Ai take off in any direction ...
Time the engine starts, the plane turns to the left ... take off the AI do not compensate and therefore they will hit the beaches or anything else.

In 4.12, AC likes to ignore water landing designated spot and decides to land on a ground airfield. (somehow, the AC lands just fine, and will taxi to a position off the field.)
If you build a mission where there are no ground airfields nearby, the AC will land a mile or so in front of the seaplane base, and just will taxi in circles and not shut down.
Because the AC curves to the left on takeoff, you must use a seaplane base on the left side of any island.

Aircraft seems confused on whether it is a seaplane or ground aircraft.

Besides these minor bugs, this is a great AC.

The reason for that is because in previous versions of the sim the description in the classfile for seaplanes was 'TypeSailplane' and this has now been replaced with 'TypeSeaPlane' for 4.12.

To have this aircraft land on water 'TypeSeaPlane' will have to replace the former entry in the classfile for it to land on water, therefore, it will need a second version with a altered classfile with the new entry for 4.12.2 users.

Thank you very much CW for the update, it is greatly appreciated. 8)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Link to fix with TypeSeaPlane implemented for 412 users:

Thanks Pete for the 412 information .

Concerning the scattering take of issue you are having Gabriel. I am a 409 user too and I can not duplicate the trouble you are having in my game yet.

Gumpy reported something similar in his testing in DBW when I had TypeStormovic implemented so I removed it.

Thanks again,
