New static objects + retextures - Part 4

Here is a new package with some retextured skins and some new static objects
for your IL2-1946 game, which also includes all of the IL2+mods games.

Some are brand new static objects, so you must add the available static.ini lines into
the game version you are playing.
Some are repainted objects, so just overwrite the old skin files.

Some objects will be placed into already available folders which come with the original game and
also with the IL2+Mods versions. Just so it makes it easier for you to install.
 
Just copy and paste the folders into the game.
Use them if you which.

Here is what is inside this new package...

- Palette_Krations_W --- New static object + skins - Add new static.ini

You will also find 2 new ground flags for signaling airplanes.

There is a new large "Standard Oil" tank.
This is an early type of tank, seen around 1912-1920s era. It can also be used in all
WW2 maps. "Standard Oil" was the biggest oil company in the early 20th century and
dominated the oil market in all the planet.

- One Retexture hangar skin (Hangar_Briq2) = I changed the cement roof details and coloring to
better fit into the game and cut out the roof wood supports details for a nicer look inside.

- One New hangar skin to replace the "Hangar_PBY", which in fact is a duplicate copy of the same
model hangar as seen in "Hangar_Briq2" in the game.
So everyone has 2 of the same looking hangars in your game, only diference is the written sign on
the hangar door.
Now you can have 2 diferent types of hangars.
The new Hangar_PBY was done using as reference some old photos from original PBY hangars from WW2.

I am not sure who the original artist that did the skin for Hangar_Briq2, so I would like to thank you if you see this.
I have left most of the skin as it was on the original object. Brick walls, windows and wooden doors. It is a nice looking
hangar. Forgive me for changing the roof and floor details on it, but the coloring and details on it were not looking so
good on many of the maps we now have. I hope you do enjoy this new version also. Or simply create a new name entry
in the static.ini so you can have an extra new set of hangars. They are slightly different from each other.

Both hangars also have new door warning signs. One in English for Hangar_PBY and another one
which I have seen in a photo from WW2 written in German, Dutch and French. Which translates to -
 "HALT! All trespassers will be shot!".

- Hangar_Briq2    --- New retextured skins = overwrite the old skin files
- Hangar_PBY      --- New retextured skins = overwrite the old skin files

PLUS + = Two more damaged and destroyed hangars with many details to add to the game.
These two destroyed hangars do not have roofs, only destroyed walls and windows. Both of them look different and
follow the design of the original hangar skin.   
Just add the new lines into the static.ini

I have received some requests for new game objects, I will answer your requests as soon as I can.
These things take time to paint and then test in the game to see if everything looks good.
Only then will I post them for you to download.
So in the next package I will add some of your requests.

Thank you very much Max, i can make good use of those, they look fantastic!  8)

I have another surgestion, not a request as i expect that you're inundated by now but how about that cylindrical  Roman column object from 4.12 that is laying on it's side turned into a section of an oil pipe line that could be raised to different heights and fitted together in sections......just another idea!

Thank you Blumax, do enjoy the new objects and create some nice map scenes to make this game better than ever.
We have to push this game into new horizons and new visuals. More eye-candy for the IL2-1946!

That is an excellent idea about the oil pipe object. I had in mind of creating a single object which includes about 5 or 6 pipes
placed in the same direction and another object with a few twisted angled pipes. That way there is no need to keep
adding numerous pipe objects to the map. My idea is one object with many pipes. Less work in creating Oil refinery scenes.
But I will look into that column object and see what can be made out of it. Thanks  :)

I will place in my next pack for you some NEW classic Greek and Roman ancient ruin objects. If I have some time
during the next few days, I will retexture some of our already available ruin objects to be better detailed.

New horizons indeed! i look forward to you're next pack and the new ruins. We've needed oil / industrial pipelines for such a long time for those desert maps and refineries and of course Ploesti, i've alawys wanted to recreate Ploesti but without the pipelines it just wouldn't look right.

Be sure to find some time to have yourself a beer!  :)

Aw thank you Max for beautiful objects and also for other objects packs, i do like crates with beer and especially with vodka, i do like vodka for sure, maybes you should created crate he is empty and maked writing at side to crate '' Helen's Vodka ''  ;D ;D i do raise a glass vodka to Max, his new objects, new horizons and IL-2 cheers!  8)

You are correct.
It belongs to the brave Polish Resistance of World War 2.

When you see this flag on the ground, or the other French resistance flag, you know the
resistance fighters are calling out for help from an allied fighter plane, or are waiting for
an Allied airplane to drop supplies in parachutes for them.  ;)
 
In my posted image, the Polish fighters are pointing the correct direction to a group of B-17 allied
bombers on their way to bomb a German airplane factory.
Thanks to the Resistance army my bombing mission was a success. Now the enemy will have
less Me-262s to fly.

... here in the African desert, the morale of the troops has just been boosted thanks to your Bier crates Max, now we can even defend ourselves against mosquitoes at night, we only need to throw empty Bier bottles at them ...!!  :D
