New static objects + retextures  - Part 5

Notice = I am sorry for the mistake in this previous download, I forgot to add an extra
folder so as to install this pack properly into your game.
ALL of these objects go into... Your game folder/MapMods/3do/Buildings/___these new object folders__

I have already posted a new download folder if you still have any problems.

Here is a new package with some retextured skins and some new static objects
for your IL2-1946 game, which also includes all of the IL2+mods games.

Some brand new static objects, so you must add the available static.ini lines into
the game version you are playing.

Some are repainted objects, so just overwrite the old skin files.
No need for new static.ini lines.

Some objects will be placed into already available folders which come with the original game and
also with the IL2+Mods versions. Just so it makes it easier for you to install.
 
Just copy and paste the folders into the game.
Use them if you which.


Here is what is inside this new package...

Ten (10) new Huts for all African, Asian and all Pacific island maps.

These new folders go in here...   Mapmods\3do\Buildings\Huts

- Hut_type03 --- New static object + skins - Add new static.ini

Beware, some are huts and houses where cannibal tribes live.

Now you can recreate on your maps the PLoesti oil refinery mission of WW2 and many others.

need to create an oil refinery that is already destroyed in your maps.
Just connect the available pieces you want and have fun. More pieces will be posted soon.

These objects may be already in your game, so check to see before you overwrite these
new skin files.
If you do not have these, just add the new folder and the new static.ini lines.

Thank you guys, I am happy to have done something cool for your game also.
It is a tremendous pleasure I get when I fly over all of these great maps you guys have been creating
over the years. Simply stunning!
New maps and retexturing of the old maps! Everything is new all over again!
These new objects will help to add more eye-candy to the whole landscape.

Hi Max you beat me to it concerning the huts one of the round ones would suit a PNG village  :D ;)

and now you can relive the doco Head Hunters in Borneo about a B-24 that crashed in the mountainous jungle there being looked after by head hunters

ps just an idea I recall The Darwin map had a low white oil tank could be changed to a large round hut if you used your textures on it. Also any thoughts for a Long House  :D

Hi Kirby! I am happy to see you here.
How are things over there in beautiful Thailand?

I painted these huts with your maps in my thoughts also. Your WIP African maps and
some of the other South East Asian maps your working on. I think these huts will
fit right at home in those places.
Each hut is built in a unique style according to a local tribe. Each tribe has a diference style of
building their houses. Some are in mud, some are in stone and some in weaved palm tree leaves
and bamboo.
These were done while I researched through many photos and tribes living all over the world.
I have numbered the skins and model types so has to leave extra room to add more Huts and
tribal houses in the next objects download packs.
I still have a few more to paint, including a few long houses too.
The little grass hut that looks like a tent is not really a home, but is more for sitting around
on the beach or the jungle and not get a sunburn  ;D

I have also read that story about those head-hunters and the downed allied airplane in the jungle.
No jungle is complete without a few head-hunter huts!
In my next pack I will also include an airplane dummy made out of twigs and palm trees so you can
create on top of a mountain the famous scene with these guys...
