No rotation on takeoff in jets

Greetings!

There`s something with most addon jets that I wondered for long but got no answer. Usually during takeoff run the pilot rotate the aircraft and hold nosewheel off ground in two-point run for a while before the getting airborne, and something similiar goes for landing, but it seems that many mod jets can`t be rotated, even the jetwar ones, but for stock jets, meteors, the earlist FM MiG-19, and maybe L-39s.

With even 80% trust and combat flap. even negative elevator trim after trying anything else, if I pull the stick a little on takeoff run at "correct" speed, say 90 knots, the aircraft gives no response, stick more back, they suddenly jump up into the air, and stalls. It seems that the only way to takeoff in these aircrafts is to build up speed and wait for them to fly off ground on all three wheels at a certain speed, while this is obviously goes against real life experience, or even other sims, yet looks like nobody ever talks about it, or its just me and my heavy hand?

Which jet in particular? Even for slated F-86 versios 90kts is too slow, you should lift nose wheel at arround 100kts and at 105 you should lift off. It's just 5kts apart, so the phase on main gear only is very short. Speeds taken from flight manual (you can find it on google books)

wondering about things never gave anyone any answers, lol.
asking questions, as you have now done, provides quicker responses, as you can now see. ;)
i must admit i don't seem to have the problem you describe, barring maybe one or two jets, so perhaps it is something to do with your technique...?
anyway, you should find some help more forthcoming soon, now that you have stepped beyond the wondering phase, to actually asking. :D

The 'jumping off' was a bug of the earlier versions of the flights models for the F-86s and MiGs, but was corrected a long time ago. Even with the newer MiG-21, even without any player input, it will naturally rotate at its nominated rotation speed.

In my version of HSFX 6.01, the F-86A acts exactly in this manner. It's almost unflyable without doing a lot of things that are very counterintuitive, as well as unrealistic. The F9F Panther takes off like a sweetheart, very smoothly. The other 2 F-86 models are a little better than the A model but definitely not very realistic. The Mig-15's seem just fine to me. I can rotate on the mains and continue to accelerate to flying speed then lift off.

It is much better than it was in the beginning, but a long ways from being just right IMHO.

You are referring to HSFX though. Have you tried our FMs?

HSFX uses outdated FMs, try JetWar.
