@Seb - thanks for the song, comrade :)

Okay, in order to further train and in order not to disappoint my fans... LOL ... as if I had any... I was working on at least something. So that you see that I am not lazying off (completely). :))
Here is a little "problem" report I wanted to post elsewhere, but ended up solving it as I was checking the post...

Quote
I was trying to do MiG-21MFN's distinctive antenne on the back - and that as a separate mesh (for reasons) attached to CF_D0. But as it is with me all the time - I can't get it working. :))

So, I was wondering if you could tell me where did I go wrong...

Okay, here is my doing:

This is what I wanted to achieve:

So I modelled it in Max,

set material called Gloss1D0o,

mapped it onto skin (I saved a flipped texture and mapped it over it, because it flips when exported, didn't find better solution so far - I'd be glad for advice),

then I selected the export tool, clicked and exported and saved as FAntenne.msh into the respective 3do folder.

Then I opened the hier.him and added following:
Code: [Select]
[FAntenne]
Mesh FAntene
Parent CF_D0
Attaching 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0
(Basically the same as is added for GSh23.)

And when I try to open the plane in IL-2, it won't let me... o.O

And then I realised how stupid I am. Yeah. Modding is a deal of precisity, as Mike told me.
If you check the code one more time - ONE WRITES TWO N IN ANTENNE! Problem solved.

But...
I'll have to scale it down - a lot. LOL :))

Announcement
"we got a system down, we got a system down..."

...so, Windows update fcked up my laptop's OS - and eventhough I have a new one now (Win 10 is a struggle), all the data of all my project are now on the old HDD. That one is undamaged, but I will have to get someone make me copy of the whole disc as I have the projects all over the place.

Cheers,
Koty

PS: It is definitelly not 1st April's prank.
