Thank you very much for this plane  :)

In my opinion this model is better than the other 3d model suggested in this thread, which, I see, it was proposed without -at least- before to say thank you for your hard work.  Really not encouraging modders to spent dozens of hours of work for providing a new model...

Go Skipper :) Ducks will look much better w/ their feet up for water landings.

Chassis model Super controlled air brake button.
In reality, it is not just for aesthetic visualization, taking off from the ground so it's easier.
AI do not know how to use this method.
Try, if you have an idea - tell me ..

ps includes 410

I just checked Gio's model and the other 3dmodel, both models are almost identical (except very slight differences in proportions due most probably to the use of different base 3view plans) - the only main difference is the main float, but this can easily be be somehow improved:
Gio, Slipper, when you get ugly ridge on a 3d model, that don't disappear by smoothing, this generally means that what appear as single vertices along these edges, are in fact couple of vertices, and you need to wedge them. and then smooth - It was what happened here -  here's the corrected CF_D0 mesh after this process:

(it can obviously still be improved)

Thanks LeOne for the Kermie Cam link. I love this guy's videos and I forgot he owned a Duck. The GoPro camera gives a great perspective and it's about as close to being there as you get.

And thank you guys for bringing us the Duck. What a great and fun old classic.

LeOne,

Thanks for this video. Kermit surely is a character.
           J2F is a lovely aircraft.
Wonderful detail both visual and procedural in this.

4.12.2 MA 5.30

Downloaded the link in first post and applied Grumman J2F-Duck_plus_Super.7z as a patch over it and when I try to fly the plane I get this:

normally is a problem with the cockpit to check it tries to push F2, if you see the outside view is that, if it is, probably the class not work in 4.12.
