Hello,Mainly when I fly the I.A.R. series I can't stop thinking how awesome would all be if the plane would be more accurate.
So I'm suggesting few changes to any kind modder which has free time to consider my request.
Loadout Tabel!:(download pic and zoom in if you have monitor below 1920x1080 resolution)
1st partModifications:I.A.R.-81:-Add loadout 1xSC250 2xSC50
-Flaps were used as dive brakes at 60° and they were automatically retracted when bomb was released(on earlier series 91-105)
-Flaps were used as dive brakes at 75° and capable of carying fuel tanks (later series 231-240)
I.A.R.80-B:(I think it's in Josse's mod):-2x13.2mm FN Browning 4x7.92mm FN Browning machine guns
-Some 80-B had that air intake below the wngine shorter (I will post pics tomorrow)
I.A.R.80-C:-4x7.92mm machine guns w/ 2x20mm Ikaria (Oerlikton) MG FF cannons
-Can sustain droptank
I.A.R.81-C (definitive version of the aircraft):-2x20mm MG151/20 Mauser cannons w/ 2x7.92mm FN Browning machine guns.
-Windscreen armor increased to 75mm
-Can sustain droptanks
-Add loadout 1xSC250 and 4xSC50
I.A.R.80 (w/ inline engine):-I.A.R.-14K (The engine of the I.A.R. series of 1,000hp) was replaced with a DB-610A from Bf.109-E No.4
-The vibration of the engine almost caused the loss of the aircraft which landed back in difficulties
-Later in 1943 tested I.A.R.81-C No.326 with DB-605 engine. The results were good, the aircraft flew between 29th of June and 20th of August 1944 (will post pics)
General and important things that aren't in the game:-The ailerons of I.A.R.80 variants, not on I.A.R.81 were sincronized with the flaps to assist during takeoff and landing. The normal movement range of the ailerons was between 26° up to 24° down.
-It used Dunlop tires
Engine details: -Gnome Rhone 14K Mistral Major produced under license
-Rotation counter clockwise viewed from cockpit.
-1,000hp power at 3,200m at 2,300RPM

Bogdan
