Anyone found a way to get the F/A-18 & AV-8B to show up?

Hello duffys tavern, So far you are the only one who appears to be having issues with these aircraft. ???

There is a possibility there was a typo in the entries I originally uploaded in which case generally that causes a CTD.

Another, altough very unlikely reason, is that I have a older/newer version of the mods and the author renamed the aircraft.

The reason I say that is the stationary planes entries are taken from the air entry for the aircraft which you use to add it to
the sim, notice the use of AV-8B and then AV8_A

A copy of your log may help, please post it here and I will take a look.

Hello guys, the latest update is now available in the first post.


The updated pack for the Morane Saulnier family is now available so all the stationaries have now been added to this mod
as well as the Farman 4:








The Ca 133, 133T and 148 have recently been updated and their entries changed so these are added to this update:



The Halifax BMKI, BMKII and BGRII and Shackleton aircraft from Bison_M:



DH Venom, Sea Venom and Sea Venom 2 not available here at SAS but added to the pack:




The F-105D and F actually have a stationary file with the mod, however, as far as I am aware only aircraft in this full
stationary planes mod can be used for taxi to take off so they are added for those who may wish to use them:




There are also other aircraft available that also contain a static in the mod that are not currently in this collection, if they
are needed please let me know as long as there are no conflicts they can be added.

hi Pete, it's looking good in this thread, buddy - having been away for a length of time, now getting a newish Modact install back up and running, and i decided to install some of the stationary planes from this December update - i just wanted to install a handful, for starters, but it hasn't gone very well so far, i'm afraid - so, before i carry on down some misguided path, i just wanted to check in and see if you could give a pointer or two.
for starters, i already had about a dozen or so stationary's installed in this game, so far with no problems.
then, from the planes in this update, i installed the stationary for the following planes:
Baron, Electra, Super-Electra, B-24D, B-25TS. B25TSStub.
of those, the Baron is viewable in 3d, but cannot be placed on map;
the Electra works properly;
Super-Electra does not display in 3d;
B-24D displays with model at 45 degree angle, rear sunk into ground, gear raised;
the two B-25's work properly.
i have all these planes installed and working properly ingame. the error log shows nothing of relevance, nothing to indicate a missing file, nada....
not a very good success rate so far. is there something i'm missing...?....

Hello Eugene, sorry to see you having problems with these I will do a check and report back.

I know the Baron static is a problem as it does not work for me but the aircraft itself does, why who knows, such a lovely aircraft.

The stationary mod has many entries in there, some of them now replaced with updated mods that have been renamed but I usually leave the java in for anyone who still might not use updated versions of the aircraft, the Super Electra was one such aircraft so please check the version and the entries for it, the most up to date is the one which I will have posted last in the thread although the older entries might be in here earlier.

There was a update of the Baron mod recently so I actually tested it again to see if it worked, sadly not, I must have forgot to deactivate the entry in stationary.ini, sorry about that.


Generally I try to put my own working copy of the stationary and technics file in each update for reference so you can see what I have running but that is not always a guarantee that I actually have the most up to date but usually I try to add any changes as I come across them.

There are certain aircraft that even now have not been updated for 4.12 so these give problems and will not show in my references.

Anyway I will check the others for you and post my findings.

I had indeed left the Baron active in my referenced stationary.ini, sorry for the confusion.


The B24-D I use is the one by SAS~Riken here:

I think a new model was added into the last TD 4.13 update and is available here for 4.12 but I have not installed it, if
memory serves there were problems mentioned so I left it out.


The Electras I use were updated by C.Watson and he changed the entries for the air.ini which meant I had to change the
java to the current version:



The current Super-Electra entry and the old, you can see the change:

Pete, thanks for the feedback, mate - i'll look into those with changes, but for now this at least let's me know that i'm still on the right path, and haven't done something horribly wrong, lol

i did just test the Super-Electra with the change you suggested, but it made no difference - it still doesn't display at all, and sadly no log info, either....
