Thanks all.  Anyone know of any stationary aircraft with open canopies??  Specifically the Spitfire.

The disappearing act is caused by the game engines inability to display more than a certain number of tga skinned polys at any one time. If you pan around and change your point of view they will re-appear. I don't know if there is a way round this.

I've noticed that when panning in FMB but hadn't noticed it in-game (although I wasn't really looking for it).
