Damawo one question, the seaplanes took off from the aft deck launched by catapult and then recovered by a crane?
Hi RealDarko.
The catapult will work by SAS engine mod without special technical addition.

Catapults on Battleship/Cruiser with Seaplanes are troublesome.

Last month I asked ten010 how to make it, he replied me "impossible for Seaplanes".
Non-Seaplane (carrier based planes, etc.) are OK by today's SAS Engine MOD's catapult function, so D4Y2 has no problem about catapult operations on Ise.

When we set a Seaplane on the catapult, 2 serious problems exist.
1 - Seaplanes sit on the deck, they break thier floats like crashing.
2 - Seaplanes don't have undercarriage wheels and given too much friction, hard to be acceralated by catapults.
I think E16A also has these problems.
To solve the problems, ten010 used a "trick" for his Seaplane.
He made it with a Non-Seaplane Java classfile and added hidden wheels Hooks.
But with this technique, AI decides "This airplane has wheels, want to return a ground airbase.".

I think that to solve it smartly, we have to evolve SAS Engine MOD (around Gears) more to enable Catapult workings / not destroyed Seaplanes' floats on decks. But now I don't have a paticular idea to change its codes.

A lot works on Missouri (DBW engine 2.6 :P): A6M2N works, but A6M2N xplod on I400. I guess spawning is different height.
( Has catapult to be solid ?=collision ). Why not top portion of catapults visuals not solid.

Both. After I entered the Ise, I added the text to make show up in the object viewer.
Started the game, checked the object viewer (pink flight deck), went to FMB, and saw pink flight deck again. I'm going to try a few things (like adding // to the ship.ini, so that it doesn't show in the object viewer.

Making a mission seems to have fixed the problem.....I've never had that before.

Yeah, the Ise has a bug there (in the object viewer), but it works perfectly otherwise.

Loving it!

I have not tried the catapult lines yet, but I'm gonna test that out.....
