The correct damage model is only available in BAT DOF AFAIK.

Hi!

I was looking at one of my DOF mission and wondering why the B.E.2 haven't managed to shoot me when they have done a good team work and 'pinced' me between them....looking at the track I noticed that them are shooting far from me....and after a close inspection I discover that the Vickers placed at the right of the pilot when fired have the bullets direction opposite and starting from a point on the other side of the plane...to be short the Vickers shoot specular to his visual positioning....you can see here what I mean:



Anyone can confirm this peculiar issue?

ATM I'm playing in BAT 4.3....

The actual plane didn't have an Interruptor Gear. So, the Lewis gun for the pilot had to be mounted to shoot forward at an angle to avoid damaging the propellor. The is a WWI series made in the 1970s called Wings. Its set in a BE2C squadron in 1915. You'll see a BE2C shooting at an Albatros two seater in one of the episodes. All the episodes are on You Tube.

Yes David I know how and why the vickers is aimed out of propeller arc....

BUT

As you can see in my picture....the 3d of the gun is placed of the right of the fuselage , aimed to starboard but the 'hitting bullets' are starting from a point on the left side of the fuselage and towards port side....
