you have just made my day.i've looked everywhere for this map.a big THANK YOU.a few modifications and it becomes a cold war interceptor map using RAF Driffield as a home base,ready to intercept those pesky bears off Flamborough Head and nearby ROTOR radar station at RAF Bempton.it also features RAF Staxton Wold which was part of the chain home system and is still working today,making it the oldest operational(mothballed but still manned) radar station in the world.cheers again.

Here is an update that I had DL'd from aviaskins for this map:

Adds more airfields and a few other items.

BWF sorry for the boredom that I created but the first download mediafire was restarted constantly preventing me from downloading. Now all ok. I have uploaded the map with JSGME in HFSX is enjoyable to 100%. thanks

Sorry if this is a noob question, but could someone explain step-by-step how to install this map into DBW?

Open #DBW, than go to MapMods - maps and there put component SND_1940 (there is actors.static, load.ini...). Than put SND_maptex to _TEX. That is all.
