CR-42 change existing skin

hello guys i should change this skin eliminating the number 1 . I do not have a program to do  and i need only remove the number 1.(inside the circle in the picture)

Download and install GIMP. By this latter, edit your skin: select right abreast the number "1" you want delete, the smallest rectangle apt to cover entirely your number "1", then paste on it.

Save overwriting the original bmp, choosing option "without header" (check file dimension: must be 1.049.654 byte).

Be aware Il-2 skins are made of "layers": GIMP allows to manage them. If not properly managed, they may look with garbled colors in game.

Btw, colors of your skin look to me strange, like "solarized" (to use a term from photography).

Or just wait for my AOI-Pack, it'll contain all the necessary Blanks, Generics, updates and corrections to older stuff from my SAAF Pack.

Your collection of skins for AOI was unique and fundamental for my related campaign. Now, to have blanks and generics would be great!
