yes, 1882X1058. I tried in all ways , changing the image resolution , moving on the folder MODS-STD-file-gui, but nothing

Delete all the backgrounds in files/gui except the widescreen backgrounds that are from my mod pack. Then give it a go!

Okay try reinstalling it again. Just delete the mod and then drop my extracted folder into your MAIN game folder. Make sure they overwrite the default files. If that doesn't work upload some screen shots of your file structure.

Not working for me.  Still get the standard HSFX splash screen.  Even removed the _ru and it doesn't work.  Is it because I'm running expert mode?
running 6103x1080 resolution

log.txt shows the following error:
[18:05:09]   INTERNAL ERROR: Texture Buffer (limit 4202496 Bytes)is to small to fit 8294400 Bytes!
[18:05:09]   WARNING: object 'gui/background_jap_artwork.tga' of class 'TTexture2D' not loaded

Is there any way to increase the texture buffer limit?  Seems like it should fit since I didn't change anything.  Just downloaded the splashscreen pack and installed it.

hmmmm same problem, I have stuck new splash screen files into Files/GUI all mat and tga's are OK but i still only get the regulation HSFX 7 splash screens, is there a limit to how many splash screens you can have in the GUI ? I have also re run the HSFX auto updater, all up to date. I have tried with expert mode as well as just plain ordinary history mod mode (so i can use some addon planes etc) , I even tried sticking the GUI folser into JSGME and enabling it there, all to no joy. I know this is an old thread, but if anyone has succeded please let me know the secret handshake for this ... thanks in advance, as I have been out of flying for a while,

I have fixed the prob, by deleting some odf the mat files in the GUI now you have your old splash screens back you silly sausage...
