Bob Holmes - I've done similar things in the past, go back to your original error and restart, so disable all back to the phantom [TFM#33 ?], then [-] out the folder you need to and add all of the jgsme stuff again

Thank you.  That's what I thought but Lordy,  I just hate to screw my game up.  It' tough fixing it again.

THX all mens and boys to this great pack! 8) I am in the testing phase now!
Some simple question: this Next Level 412 is further mod friendly? So, possible to add for example the New train mod, similar in manner as a normal modact? Or Fletcher 1960 mod? Or BTR-40/152 pack, for example?(If the mod itself have 4.12 icon, and all other necessary things are on the game) This TFM412 contains the engine mod 2.7 somewhere, or possible to add this thing manually? Or further modding not recommended? No further plans to do a 37th package, contains another great stuff, such New Train Mod, destroyers with missiles, etc?
Interesting fault:QMB: if i used an A-4 skyhawk, AAM missiles remain attached to the wing pylon, not separated and started, but the rocket engine is smoking ;D So i get a RATO pack ;D After another missile start order, they are simply disappeared! Anybody else faced this problem? Logfile late afternoon!(In the ordenance list, i have AAM missile option, not AIM-9B or similar...)

I'm having a problem where when I try to load the map La Chute the map screen goes completely black. I can't seem to figure out why. Any Ideas?!

You did something wrong go back and read the directions on map install and check that all objects are in place. If not what does the little message say on the bottom of the page and also the last 50 lines of your log file

Hey Monty! I've gotten back into il-2 after a long hiatus after a computer crash. Anyways, I have downloaded all of your packs and activated them in order after patching the game to 4.12.2 and activating the ai flyables via jsgme. I've followed all instructions to the "t" and am having some issues. I will list them below with as much detail as possible. My system consists of an i7-4700hq, nvidia gtx 765m, 12 gb ram, 1 tb hdd, and 128 gb ssd.

First, the game is noticeably slower than it used to be. I'm getting an average of 30 fps when I used to get upwards of 50. Here is my conf.ini:

Next, I am having weird crashes. I will load up a mission in QMB, fly for a little while and it will freeze and crash. This has never happened to me before trying TFM and 4.12 together.

Third, I am having issues with PAL's Visual Mod. I dropped the folder into my #SAS folder and added the lines to my conf.ini, but it's not appearing in game for some reason.

Fourth, I can't get QMB pro to work. When I got it loaded up by dropping the folder into my #SAS folder, I would go into QMB pro, set up a mission, launch it and it would crash once the mission loaded and the game started. So, I defragged my install and when I started playing the game again, QMB pro wasn't installed. I don't know what to make of this.

It should be noted that I'm running TFM 4.12 and a few of the included extras. I am trying to run QMB pro, PAL Visual Mod, and Tiger's Sounds too, but I'm having issues with visual mod and qmb pro.

Anyways, thanks Monty for all of your hard work. These packs are great and loaded with great additions to il-2!

download the map and reinstall and also add the objects you are missing you will see them  plus read the readme and the 1st page of the map thread it is all there.

If you want to measure performance do it by using the 'Black Death' track, average fps matters.
My average fps is 64 in SAS modact 5.3, it was 54 in DBW 1.71. (i3, gtx550 ti, 8Gb RAM).
In blind weather I got 0 fps drop, its maxed out at my monitor refresh rate, 75hz.
Your 30 fps in 4.12 with you hardware shows significant problems. We should check your logfile.
Empty its contents, run the Black Death track (measure avg fps) and post it please.

See SAS~Monty reply 149 on page 13 re Tiger sounds. Causes issues in QMB, so disabling may resolve one of your problems.

Hey all,

I got one which is the most common of all...I had patched my IL2 46 to 4.12.2 as soon as the patch came out, about so many months down the line I came across and installed Mod activator 5.30, SAS optional Mods as well as the AI flyables. and believe me all of this is the best thing to me since I got a job.   ;)

(Yes welcome me back to the modding community by all means after a 5 year no show ''Hurrah'').  :-\\

Now I installed everything correctly. Then I moved onto TFM-412 in the hopes and dreams of getting some real mod packs activated. However....she crashes at 5% loading.... :'(

Now do you OFFICIALLY need DBW for this? do these mods have to go somewhere else in the IL2 folder? or do you need essential files to make the TFM packs work?

I will be very grateful for a reply.
