Thank you.  I think I found something.  I disabled benitomuso's/PAL's  Mission Pro and it is working again.  I'll mess with loading order to see if I can have MissionProCombo working again.

why don't we just patiently wait and see what is in CFM before asking for more content, from what i can see Simon has put a huge amount of time into this and I'm already salivating at the prospect  8)

I'm seeing more 'I WANTS' than 'THANKYOU' on here - show some gratitude people  ;)

Question for anyone that has TFM currently working...

Has anyone been able to add any of the stationary objects (planes, ships, artillery, etc) to any map in FMB?  Every time I try to do that, IL-2 crashes.  No problems with the moving ships, airplanes or vehicles.

UberDemon, Are you running Tigersounds mod? Since the early days there was a problem with TigerSounds crashing the game in FMB/QMB using certain objects. I'm not sure if it was ever resolved.

Can you look into this and confirm if you are aware of a problem with the GAZ-66, or if there is a possible corruption in my pack #13 d/l?

Did a quick check:
I installed the GAZ-66 trucks in a fresh vanilla 412.2 MA5.30 (without tfm of course),
old Smolensk armor QMB worked well, no CTD. So its not this GAZ mod.

But yes, I have the same problems in TFM with some QMB missions as you and other described it where I have a sudden CTD. Will try to find out wheres the culprit.  :-X

I had similar issues in FMB with the new#TFM412-19_Map-Pack-3 - I think we may have the culprit here:

TIGER33's Sounds - An ongoing classfile conflict with this mod makes it unsuitable, at present, for the TFM-412 modset.  It is recommended to disable TIGER33's Sounds by adding (-) to the folder:Il2.../#SAS/!#_UV3

You must also disable (-) tigersounds_1.sfs and tigersounds_2.sfs inside the SFS_AUTO folder.

This is all about the jump from 410 to 412, some of the conflicts have only revealed themselves with later addons.  Since we want stability above all it is best to disable the !#_UV3 folder for now.  In time we may well see a 412-fix for this wonderful soundset.  We all want it and are trying hard to fix it. 

Sorry to put it on hold for now.  We will eventually get there with TIGER33's Sounds, I am sure of that, and we will keep trying.

First I want to say that this is probably an error on my side of the download,not DBW but I am frustrated about finding the solution ( I have tried everything I know..) Recently I decided to do an fresh install of "The Next Level." I had some continuing minor problems with my "old" install & figured a new install ( with old missions , old skins,users folders would be a good thing.I had kept all the downloads of the install & added the new ones,some of which took a time or two to properly download ( my pc would give me a "Sorry" message & state there had been a faulty download.I started with a fresh install of 4.12 with the required UP files in the main game folder ( I got these from my old DBW install.)Then added & tested the required folders as per instructions in JSGME.I then got going with installs of the Next Level installs,testing each one,if it didn't work properly I re-downloaded it, re-installed it & checked it again.Most of my problems seem to have occured in Map installs for when I tested any mission I might get a "Mission Loading Failed " message and a map reference. I worked pretty carefully & slowly until I got to install#16 Maps 2 and now I am stuck.If I try to install it I get the above error message.If I leave it out of the install ( and its maps) I can continue to install the newer sections with apparentlsuccess (  I say this as I have only gotten up to #23 with no apparent problems.) I've tried all the tricks I know,even doing a manual install of #16 folder with no success.I've thought it might be some wierd interface with Missions folder but that makes no sense to me either.I've tried to see problems in the all ini. file but it appears to be correct.I don't want to go toomuch further in the install for fear that missing #16 I could run into further problems with new map installs...or maybe problems with #16 are the reuly of a corrupt earlier part & I need to go back to correct that before proceeding. So I appeal to the guys here- maybe this has happened before & you have a clue.Perhaps you can see where I have erred & have an easy solution?I'll keep my fingeres crossed!

I do not have the Tiger mod installed.  But I found out something interesting, I'll post if I find out how to fix the static object FMB problem.  Also, disabling the Crimea map in the MAPMODS does bring the Crimea map back (that is, Crimea Summer) (putting "-" in the folder name, as in "\#SAS\MAPMODS\maps\-Crimea", as explained by Monty.

I didn't put in Tigeer Mod either,but I did wonder about it.Again I can't figure out what connection it might have with "Mission Loading Failure" ,but what do I know.I will try disabling Crimea ...we'll see what happens...?

YES, YES, YES!!!!  :o

Fully working TFM (the merit of this 2 days before the expected release of CFM is questionable, but eh... whatyagonnado?).  So the reason why I could not use any of the static objects in FMB was due to a conflict with benitomuso/PAL's MissionProCombo for 4.12.2m.  Once I disabled that, TFM was working like a charm, but without the cool application... more specifically I was using benitomuso's AWESOME TotalModder (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,42295.0.html) to save a ton of harddrive space during TFM install.

Total Modder comes with MissionProCombo for 4.12.2m, however there is something not working for TFM, so I compared the version that came with Total Modder with the direct download (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,42499.0.html).  It turned out that the TM version came with 394 files, but the direct download came with 397 files.  The TM version which I was using previously was missing the following files:  3BA0EBD27A0BF1CC, C83DC122AC43C2E0 and F2B7D2A28A1E7DCC.

Once I enabled the mod with the direct download of MissionProCombo, all is working...  Oh happiness.

TFM 412 is brilliant.  :)

You can figure out by the names of the mods what I have enabled, but so you know, "=_TFM412classik" is where I copied all the TFM412 packs 1-38, plus B-26 weapon upgrade.  Note that TFM only works for the content in the #SAS folder in the mega mod, so all the SFSs and Paintschemes (and missions if there were any) have to be moved manually, or using batch files (like I do) or using JSGME.

I'm having trouble with TFM412-11_AIR_EXTRAS. All previous TFM packs activated without problems. However When I enable TFM412-11_AIR_EXTRAS, then when Il-2 starts, I get 20% CTD. I've tried to fix this by disabling and re-enabling all mods. I followed every single step. I do have SAS_AI_FLYABLES activated so I am at a complete loss here.

EDIT: I don't know what the problem was but I disabled and re-enabled SAS_AI_FLYABLES again and it worked.

Hi Armin

Great to hear from you old friend!  Happy New Year.  Chris and I can confirm CFM installs in TEN MINUTES and is 75% smaller filesize.  We will get it released this month, next week or so.

Sorry to hijack this thread a little, but everytime I see UberDemon posting here it brings back memories of the UQMG and make me think how coul would have been this utlity with the new planes and maps.  :o
