Yes indeed, these are dead projects now.  The goal going forward is to remove all dependency on previous SFS files, which are also old and out of date for 412.  So you will only need these 9 for the 412 mod CFM and even some of those will be removed with future updates.  ;D

Hi Monty,
I'm downloading the files now, But they are going to take 6 hours, is there anyway to make the download faster? maybe on M4T!
Could I just take the relevant files out of DBW, (if I knew what they were) and put them into the CFM ready folder,

Yep, take them out of DBW - Open your Il2 Install and search (CTRL F) for '*.SFS'.  If you plan to install CFM into the same directory then just leave them there.  This upload is for people who are coming to it fresh and don't have any of the previous UP or DBW files.

6 Hours is a bit slow for a download less than 4Gb.  The time estimates are often a little high at first and usually reduce after a short period.  Would M4T be quicker?  I could take a look at that too...

Cheers Monty,
You where right, the download only took 2 hours in the end, So I now have them in my IL-2 1946 CFM root folder (clean install, don't want any problems ;)) ready for the big day, unless you change them again of course ;D
And thanks to you and all the team for your hard work.

3.7 GB is gonna take me 1 hour.  :P
......

Done! Downloaded and placed in the root directory.

I have done the first 3 steps :
1. Working patched 412.2.m
2. SAS Modact 5.3+
3. The required UP.SFS files already in place (CFM_UP_SFS.RAR)

Now waiting patiently for the CFM final release  :-*

Hey monty,

Spartan has a good idea.  Can we get your blessing that this is a good prior plan for the rest of us that want to start from a clean insall? This way when you are ready with CFM we will be ready to launch:))

Gents,

CFM will pretty much set a new standard for MOD packs.  It is well integrated with 4.12 and SAS Modact 5.30.  It may warrant a new CFM section in the super pack area.  More information coming ASAP.  Back to the TARDIS.

Yep!  Clean install patched to 4:12.2 with SAS Modact on top, running and ready to go - add, or check for the presence of, the 9 required SFS files from the download and you are ready for CFM!
