Thanks RDDR. Understood. The importance of the UTI is the fact that it can have two pilots and one can offer training on line. I have not found a replacement that can do that. Anyway, it is an online thing and TFM/CUP is offline targeted so I understand.

Understood .
Just the same it might be a possibility.
Monty and I will be meeting in a short while this afternoon so I'll throw it at him.
Perhaps we can add it in a upgrade in the not so distant future.
 Cheers,
Christopher

I have just one question.  Most of what you guys here discuss concerning this "CUP" (and many of the other things here in this forum) are things that are usually above my head, knowledge-wise, but the one things which concerns me most is - will this be fairly simple to install/run?  It was constantly stressed during your formulation of CFM that it would be something like a twenty minute install, and easy.  Is it anticipated that this will be the same, kinda?  Thanks for any insight.

NO worries Ol' Navy.  CUP will be much easier to install - and much faster - than TFM.

ol'Navy, when Simon posted the CUP Beta for some Beta testers
I saw the beta dl link thread at ~ 9.00 and had
a ready to test CUP at 15.00.  ;)

I have a ~1,5Mb/s Link, took me ~ 6 hours to dl the  20 files (26GB).
(when you do not have 4.12 ModAct 5.30 you have to add this dl).

Then I had to unzip this 20 files into my fresh Modact 5.30 copy ..
took me ~ 1 hour. Thats it. Nothing more.
Why? Because most of this files holds sfs files only
wich goes directly into the proper sfs folders.

And there are only a few jsgme options wich small mods and/or SFS files,
so it doesn't really take time to install what you want to use from jgsme.

I simply love it. :)

Thank you for the responses.  It makes me feel better.  Man, it took a long time to enable all those mods for TFM, not to mention downloading them all.  You smart guys continue to help me out, even when my questions aren't very smart (and you don't even get mad at me (I don't think)).  Thanks again.

Just a minor question for Monty, have you considered releasing CFM with NO SUPPORT ? or did you find problems that broke the coding etc ?

I knew that you will include WW1 era and WW1 aircrafts. This will be the best mod/addon ever made on Earth :D

 To Nyali,
I can answer that one for you
Nothing was ever broken in CFM.
As we were on the way to completion we just saw a better way to go, regardless of the time element.

thanks for the reply RDDR, i was just wondering because it seemed to be completed and then cancelled all in one go, would be a shame to just write off all that hard work when it could be released 'as is', even with CUP being tested at the moment.

At this point it would be a distraction for the team and confusing for the casual user.
