You are right! But pilots were rookies! Yet there was a war almost the entire 90 years, so many pilots had combat experience .. Yes and NATO fighters had a lot of experience (war in Panama, Gulf War) argue that we can not turn on what was to experience a lot better ..

I did not study much history of that Planes but managed any, MIG-29 fighter shoot down enemy? Please .. if m and someone much information would make me wonder

After breakup of CCCP the new Russian Federation had a hard time getting their armed forces reorganised including the Air Force.. At first they had major maintenance problems and Yugoslavian airforce was as Bîzu said poorly resupplied and lacking experience.. The MiG itself is a pretty good plane :) ;D

Frankly this should have been said to yourself, reconsidering until you reach the point where you get that it isn't clever to start spreading your voice from nothing.

managed any, MIG-29 fighter shoot down enemy?
From varying sources there are a number of claimed kills from different combat areas like Kosovo, Yugoslavia, Syria and Irak. But as with all combat records, it's hard to find proof of any claimed victory if you're vastly outnumbered so there's no eye witness.
India would have had a good chance to down a pair of PAF F-16 in 1999 but they weren't allowed to as there was no official war declared between the two countries.
The latter also explains what makes the main difference between the MiG-29 and it's enemies during the engagements seen by the MiG: Usually all opponents were equipped with BVR missiles of much greater range than the 29, so in these "no rules" combat situations the 29 was always in defence of itself.
1999 in India the situation was vice versa and the outcome would have likely been as well if the 29s were allowed to engage.

The corresponding answer to your question would be:
Did any aircraft ever manage to escape 4 AA-11 Archer missiles?

Best regards - Mike

it is a wreck .. When comparing the F-15 and Mig-29 that is similar to the MiG-3 and Bf-109F  ;)

The aircraft's nice but that's about all ..

F-15 vs. MiG-29 is like Bf-110 vs. MiG-3.

Storebror: I meant the  battle of history!

But anyway thanks

Koty: Sorry, I was mistaken I meant the MiG-29 MiG-3 and F-15 as a Bf-110F (109 not sorry it was a typo)

So .. almost no success but I do not want to argue but to comprehend if the Mig-29 better than F-15 so it had to be  all, Iraqi, Yugoslavian, pilots  total idiots who would come to the Air Force as blind to the violin ..almost without any experience..

Get in touch with the Romanian or the Moldavian Ministry of Defence and tell them that you wish to buy a deactivated Mig-29.
You can do this by email :D
Mig-21s and 23s here are sold for ~=8,000$ and even less each, depends of the condition, and some of them even have the original engine, of course the resource is finished.
