Question about saving tracks ~SOLVED~
« on: May 05, 2014, 12:34:03 PM »

I built a mission on a map and it runs fine, but it can not or will not save a track.
Now I went to the QMB and used the same plane set and there it saves like it should.

So why can't I save on the mission map ?
All of the rest of the maps seem to record  fine.

Thanks for any help.

What exactly happens when you try to save the track? Error message? Nothing? Wrong playback? Log.lst entries?

Best regards - Mike

Hi.

I'm by no means an expert, but I've found that tracks seem to have an annoying trait: If you press the "save" button immediately after typing in the track's name, it will not save. I don't know if it is just me or what, but try typing in the name you want, waiting a few seconds, and then hitting save.

Good luck,

Sorry for the late reply Mike.
I have been doing some checking and what I found was I have a boat load of missing objects that go with this map.
I went to the map section and found Boomers object packs. Down loaded them. 2 hours to DL.

An up-date== The objects seems to have fixed this.
Only time will tell.

Ok I went back to the map[Mission] that would not save the track.
After installing boomers object pack it all works, so I would have to say this is solved
