Suggestion of a tool
« on: May 06, 2014, 06:42:28 PM »

This morning I was working on a map and need objects lots of them.
Boomer had a post where he said to get this tool and I almost passed it up.
That would have been a big arse mistake.
This thing merged the static from the UP-4[ I hope that is right] to the static.ini that I wanted to use.
This tool did the job in under 20 mins. If I had to do it by hand I'm sure it would take a month or more.

I would say any one that mods this game should get this. In fact it should be added as a sticky in tools or some place.
It works.
Thanks Boomer for the heads up..  All Credit goes to Boomer.

i'll have to double-check for it, but i'm pretty sure we have a long-standing thread of useful utilities, of which Winmerge is one of those featured   ;)

it can be found here, in one of our long-standing threads: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=23633.msg241845#msg241845
so, in order for us not to have too many repetitive threads, i'll soon be removing this one.
