But not being able to trim breaks my hand after a while (getting old obviously). Can someone add trim to their flying models? It would make them much easier to use!

Excuse me, I just think that as soon as they are WWI, they shouldn't have the trimmers.

If I do add the trim to the FM it will be for those who have issues such as Vampire, not all of our members are in their early years and it will be posted as optional. Not as a replacement. Vampire has been here for many years and contibuted many mods so to give him an FM that helps him personaly, its the least I can do to repay him for all his work.

Bombsaway, I am humbled:)  Thank you very much!
There will be a reworked DBW 1916 v3 version of my flyingboat fighter campaign coming up.

Mind if I add a thing about the trim. Many, if not most WW1 Il2 planes have that feature available and I am happy for it.
Makes playing much more easy for those that like it. You can as well ignore it. It was no request for more "realism" of course.
Also, it is not only better for my wrist but also for my joystick as it is not constantly pressed into one corner.

AH!  Very cool , finally someone enjoys flying this little airplane as much as I do.
I personally like it very much.
Although painting the skins for it were a headache. It is way too small. Tiny pieces.
Perhaps in a later date, there could be a better version. We shall wait.

Unfortunately does not work at all, no trim.
Maybe I should have pointed out that I am running 4.10 (DBW1916), if that makes a difference.

Sorry. I can try again but I dont understand, if you remove my FM's and replace them with the originals, they should work.

Also, the classfiles in DBW1916 pull the FMs from the buttons, that much I can see. So just putting the FMs in there won't work.
When I try to install the original files pack into DBW 1916 I get a mission load:null error, with and without the new FMs
