Meteors turboprop
« on: May 26, 2014, 07:22:46 AM »

Hello all! ;) As was requested here, I have done some little changes to the Meteor Mk. III to make it turboprop.

I used the Seafire Mk. 45 propeller from here.

 - for making the original plane

Zorin
 - for making the Griffon Spitfires, from which, I guess, were made the Seafires.

Currently it is a WIP and have three variants. You can download it for testing from here...
Download v0.4

Enjoy!

so it uses the same FM as the jet version, then?
a cool idea, but i'll wait for this to get its own slot with FM, personally :D

this plane uses the Meteor MKIII's slot, and it's air ini, so this mod replaces the original meteor MKIII

I'm working a lot lately in real life but could try to find some time in the evening to make this its own slot. Cant promise it will be tonight but could soon.

Hello, Mark! Thank you very much, but as I said, I will do it myself. I have learned how to make classes ;)
I may need only 3D editing help - re orientate the second propeller to make it rotate to opposite side,
because setting this parameter in FM doesn't help :-\

Funny approach there! With its own slot this could be a decent alternative. :)
