ok i followed your last instructions:
- used new DGEN folder+dgen.ini+dgen.exe
- copied "files for mod EN" in new dgen folder
as a results, a new step forward: it works (as before) and now i have campaign + subcampaigns in english :-); but briefing are still in russian ... so i think the only problem to solve now is to have briefings in english too; how to do it ?

btw: all other "stock" campaigns are now in russian but i think that it is no problem because i cannot use other stock campaigns anyway with your campaign installed, right ? so i take one hsfx installation just for "pearl Harbour to tokio".

Well, there's few screenshots. Admiral Halsey's 3rd fleet begin attacks on Philippines on 9th september 1944. TF-38 all four groups raided japs airfields on Luzon, Leyte and Mindoro. Main task of these attacks is to weaken japs air forces on Philippines, before MacArtur landings on Leyte, scheduled to october.
Here you can see one of these attacks, Bataan airfield on Mindoro, 10 september 1944:

i am playing it and I enjoy it, very good job; very nice and detailed maps, many planes etc., thank you for your job Motörhead

I suggest to everybody interested in pacific theatre to give this mega-campaign a try.

PS to Motörhead: yesterday i made some tests with one of the many sub-campaigns: "USAAF fighter 5th AF" and here i found problems:

- peralr Harbor OK
- philippine 41 does not run ... just a beep when i press generate
- port Moresby, beep
- kokoda july 42: beep
- kukoda august 42: OK
- buna and gona 1942": does not start and i received the "no map in mission file" message at the first mission
- Gloucester OK
- philippines 44: not start with message "missione loading failed mesh 3do/humans/paratroopers/russia/monosim not created.

and after i receive the "paratrooper" message, i receive it for all others campaign i try to start, included Gloucester, that worked before

i delete the installations and used a backup i had, but same results (if i try Gloucester it works, but after i receive "paratroopers" message on philippne 44, does not work any more

Thanks blackshark! Your report is very usefull for my work. I found and fixed all errors you wrote, exept "paratroopers" bug. This is map error, i've seen this even in old ultrapack version of this map. I think only map author can fixe it. If you delete all ground objects from mission file with this map, sometimes it can help to load mission. Sometimes IL-2 reload can help too. Really not understand this bug.

Well, next version of "Pearl Harbor - Tokyo" with all this errors fixed is coming soon, probably few weeks. But if you want to try current beta version immediately, please write me to PM.

Hey motorhead.  Long time no see.  I just got back to Il2HSFX.  I had v2.0.  Are there a lot of changes between v2.0 and v2.2?

Hi pandacat!
I really hate to repeat myself  ;D but:

- new DGEN feature: [Airfield] in settings file, which allow to place player's squadron to correct airfield. Now this option use only in few campaigns (USMC fighter campaign and IJN ground based fighter);
- new transition missions added;
- "Tokyo 1945" B-29/P-51 subcampaign - build new airfields on Iwo-Jima, with radio beacons and blind landing system;
- new US NAVY operations:
  1 - First strike on Tokyo, february 1945
  2 - Marianas strike, february 1944
  3 - Operation Desecrate - Palau strike march 1944
  4 - Formosa strike, october 1944
- US NAVY subcampaign "Philippines 1944" now split into two different subcampaigns: "Septermber 1944" and "October 1944";
- New campaign for American Volunteer Group "Flying Tigers" pilot, consist from two operations: "December 1941" and "March 1942";
- First operation from future Fleet Air Arm campaign, "Palembang strike, january 1945"
- New type of missions add in campaign, supported by new DGEN version from Asura. This, for example:
  1 - Hydroplane base attack/defence
  2 - Ground free hunt missions
  3 - Sea free hunt missions
  4 - Antisubmarine patrol, ETC.
- In US NAVY Philippines 1944 campaign added TF-38.3 and TF-38.4 forces, both have near 25 ships.
