Reworked airfield textures
« on: March 11, 2010, 11:34:58 AM »

Hi all!

First, I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this. If not, sorry :(

This is my first "mod". i did it some days ago because it couldn't stand the look of the default runways anymore. So I did some little editing....  :-\

Texture 1 (default)

Texture 2

I was not sure how it look most authentically, but in the end I decided to remove the white stripes. I included 3 different versions, one still has the stripes. I also put pictures in the filder to help you choose the texture you prefer. Readme included.

I hope you like this little mod! ;)

Cheers, Eagle

Ps: Sorry for any mistakes, English is not my native language.

I take it these nice looking textures, replace the existing concrete textures?

Would it not be better if it were possible to add this new set to the already existing sets? The more variation the better.

Hi agracier.  :)
Yes, the textures do replace the old ones, it's a repaint.
I don't know what you mean exactly "by adding them to the already existing set".
I suppose you want to use these textures and the existing ones side by side, but I don't think this is possible!? :(
If not, please tell me, I'm open for any suggestions on this topic.  ;)

Not surprising that the link is dead. Eagle's last post, and this thread, are three and a half years old.
