An Army Tilley car and an RAF Tilley car.  Some pallets and a dude in a firesuit.
NOTE:  The dude in the firesuit is a stripped down and bastardized model I downloaded from the net.  There's still a lot of polys (this guy had eyes, teeth, tongue and a load of stuff I removed).  I'm not sure if it will impact your game.

There's a simple train platform plus a rail buffer for the end of tracks.

Get it here: https://www.mediafire.com/download/zw65mdh9i4965bw/TilleyandTrainstuff.rar

I'm working on these but am STILL having problems with alpha channels and the windows.

The fordor is another bastardization from a download.  I'm still chipping away at the polys.

Post any issues/probs here please.  Enjoy.

Hello! Good job! :)
When you will normalize the vehicles... maybe you will like them to have slots -
so they will be moving, stationary objects :)
uh? :D

I only do static objects at the moment as I have no idea how to make them mobile!!!  There doesn't seem to be a tutorial on that, just aircraft. :-[

Where do you get the ideas for these objects? I didn't even know we were missing pallets and rail buffers until now!

Keep up these great details!!

NS~Radge:

This is one of the great advantages to not having these as moving or stationary objects: they don't need slots. This means we can paint these objects up, change two or three lines in the staic.ini file, and presto - we have a brand new object. For instance I can see painting the pallets to show more wear or even different colours. The same can be said for the vehicles.

Don't misunderstand me - if these get slots and can be made mobile I'll be among the first to install them and thank my lucky stars someone has the talent and time to allow us to have this.

Understand me right, I want to do that myself. Asking if you want that.

@Bob... You see that car(s) on the pictures ? ? ? Seems good to make it moveable.
Or you are really thinking I want to make moving platform?..

Plowshare, LOL.  I just think of things I've seen at air bases, army bases etc.  I believe it's the little things that can add to the overall scenario and it's my small (no pun intended) way of giving back to the IL2 community.   Besides I think we have enough aircraft, LOL.

NS~Radge;
Any improvements you can make are more than welcome!!!  If you want to make them mobile, yes, go for it!!   ;D
Just post the final results please.

thanks tomoose, loving the objects!
i hope you don't mind, i edited the thread title to include the date - it just avoids confusion further down the line when there are several threads titled 'New release' or similar... ;)

Thank you Tomoose! Excellent new models. They will be used.

Just so you know a few months back there was a Russian map released which already came with 1 or 2 types of train
stoppers at the end of the rails models. Although, they are diferent from your version.
Thank you

BTW - If you are ever looking for low poly FREE models, I may be of some help.
I have checked out many websites and also downloaded for myself many models
which later could be used for this game. I don't believe there is any need to cut down on the 3d-modeling polys on them. They just
need to be worked out in a way to be imported into this game. They look excellent as they are, only new skins may be needed on
them to make them come alive in this IL2+Mods world.

SAS_Malone; no probs, makes sense.  I'll include dates in any future contributions. Thanks.

Max;  if you have links for 3d stuff we can canibalize please send them.  Anything that can cut down on the workload is appreciated.

Ref the Ford fordor, the colour isn't great as I used a cartoon-type graphic for the skin.  I couldn't find any decent pics in colour of a U.S. staff car (i.e. side, front, top view etc).  It won't show up in the game as yet so needs more work.
