Great addition to the game - THANKS!!! Wonderful job! Fills a real gap. No more need to use the PE-2 as a MB-174 hack... :)

See if I can create a campaign for this one when I get some time to spare!  ;)

... a very convincing Franken...!  ;)

... just one thing, in order to get a more realistic MB 174, is it possible to remove the two external bomb pylons and also the two nose guns ...?  :P

Hello Mick, from what references I have read I was under the impression the MB-174 carried the heavier bombs of its arsenal external, hence the retention of the Ki-45 pylons.  I could be wrong about that, maybe I misunderstood the literature, as for whether they can be put elswhere I do not know.

I think it would mean having to change the hooks on the existing airframe, the Ki-45 does not actually carry bombs internally so I would
think they can only be where they are. :-\

The changes made to the mesh by Alex mean the two nose cannons cannot be used but as they are part of the nose 3d for now they will have to stay. ;)

Here you see the vertices selected and moved to one side as a trial:

We are still trying to finalise the aircraft so removing the cannons is way down the list, to do it I will probably have to go through all the Lods that
make up the nose, quite a undertaking as I will have to remove the vertices and then extract the resulting meshes and add all the new entries.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

MB.174A.3 (in service march 1940) = 8x 50kg FR Bombs only - 56 ex

MB.175B.3 = (apr 1940) 600kg FR Bombs max but... 4x100kg or 2x200kg - 23 ex

Une version de torpillage, Bloch 175 T, fut construite en petite série en 1947 et fut produite pour l’Aéronavale jusqu’en 1950.
MB.176T = 1947 - torpedo

Hello Gabriel, thank you very much for the information. 8)

From what I just translated from your post it looks like we need a bomb bay. ;)

The smaller bomblets I understood were carried internally, I added just the larger weapons in the java as I was not sure how to load the smaller bombs, I am still no wiser as to where to hang the smaller units, the mod is still developing and I get more Grey hair by the day.

As there was no intention of adding different versions we have tried to come as close as possible with the loadouts.

From what I can remember a load of up to 600kg was accomplished with three 200kg bombs, these are what I understod to have been carried externally, we had to use two 250kg as we only had the two hardpoints.

A centrally carried 500kg was another loadout which I thought was also mounted externally, it had to go where it is, although I would hope it is possible to position a pylon centrally at some stage.  However, it may be that it can only go where it is

The torpedo was added because the final version had one.

We need to find a way to add two wing guns so that we have the three forward firing gun armament, one was in the nose.

Unfortunately we can only work with the 3d we have, however, if it is somehow possible to mount the bombs so at least they appear to be coming from a internal bombay then it will be done.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

From myself I would like to add that the basis for us undertook reconnaissance version of MB-174R or (V2), where the bomb bay was installed additional fuel tank and bomb load could be installed on the external load that Pete did. But, the version is under development and who knows, maybe will add real bomb load. ;)

Well, surprise. MB-174 version for 4101.

https://www.mediafire.com/download/qij0th7376almxq/Bloch_MB-174__V3.1_for_4.10.7z

Thank you so much Mission_ bug for hard work on the adaptation version to 410 and Epervier personally for java - classes for Ki-45 adapted to version 410.
We apologize for there is not available cockpit navigator, may still some bugs in the 3D and DM.

Added in the first post.

Enjoy  ;D

Hello again ...  ;)

Like Epervier, I have never seen or read anything about external bomb pylons regarding any MB 174/175 version ...

The MB 174 A3 (only 56 built) had a bomb bay that was so small that it could only carry 8x50 kg bombs

The MB 175 B3 (only 25 were delivered before the defeat) had a longer and wider fuselage and could theoretically carry up to 600 kg of total bomb load but in fact either 4x100 kg or 2x200 kg bombs

The torpedo version, MB 175 T was built in 1947 for the French navy, and saw service until 1950 ...

Hello Mick, I must have misunderstood what I read, probably from this, near the bottom it mentions wink racks, maybe I was not paying enough attention. ;)

http://www.century-of-flight.net/Aviation%20history/photo_albums/timeline/ww2/Bloch%20M.B.174.htm

This was one of many I looked through, with it mentioning centre line I assumed it meant a pylon.

Anyway, development continues, for a fraken it looks very close to the real thing, spooky, maybe we should remove the franken label from this hanger. :D

As I said before we can only do so much with a Ki-45 airframe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D
