I have done 90% of every work on winter map of Stalingrad. Please, be patient!
I´m not in race with BOS, they are better, faster, stronger, really...this is for all fans of old sturmovik.
Here is trailer...

BoS is better in several aspects indeed but that's quite obvious after a decade since old IL2 release.
But your selection of textures is more convincing as a winter landscape than what BoS has to offer right now.
I've said it before here and at BoS forum that for my feeling their winter Stalingrad is too much of a pristine white blanket. In several areas it will be like that indeed but not everywhere. It is not North Pole or Antartica.
I had good hope that a lot of BoS textures are placeholders and will be replaced by others to give it more variety. But I think it will stay as it is. For this and other reasons I'm still in the wait-and-see mode in relation to BoS.

no I have not written any books, what I meant was that in my opinion: your Stalingrad maps are my favorite maps in the game!

but the book idea was a great idea! Those Japanese ones look amazing!

The Textures indeed pump up the value.
The atmosphere is great, tracks in the snow, carefully selected.
Wishing you all the best on your further work
