I-153 M-62 and P "smoothclass" mod (v1.2)
« on: September 18, 2014, 09:32:50 AM »

Hello!
Since some of the users face "multiple weapons" error for some of the aircrafts,
when they are using SAS Engine mod on the 4.12,
I decided to begin solving of this problem.

The first official relise is the I-153 M-62 and I-153P.
Now their weapons should be set and be correct.
More detailed explanation is in the readme files.

I hope it will be useful for you ;)

v1.2 update: deleted attaching cockpit class CockpitI_153 to the plane class I_153_M62.
Because of that attaching I had impossibility of exiting the score page after the end of the mission.
Also I updated I-153 Float so it don't need own cockpit classes.

Nice one, thanks a lot Radge. Good catch on the crippled class inheritance of the 153s.

Best regards - Mike

Thank you, Mike!
I appreciate your opinion very much! :)

But... a little thing I forgot to do... (it shouldn't affect on proper working,
but uncomfortable a bit :D)

I forgot to give to the I_153.class specification "abstract"...

Well, download is revamped on the first page :)

Thanks for the update. It wouldn't have affected anything at runtime though.
"Abstract" just tells Java that this class has no method implementations and can't be instanciated.
If you "forget" to mark an abstract class abstract, then the worst thing to happen would be that someone could create an instance of that class (something nobody would do in our small cosmos of IL-2 modders).

Yeap, just an another line for the I_153 in the air.ini can be made,
would be interesting to see how the aircraft will exsist in the game practically without "static" entries in the class :D
I remember when I forgot to delete the abstract specification from the class and game couldn't spawn a plane, crashed in loading.
The only who helped me to find out the error - is our old good friend log.lst ;) :D
