RELEASE: Airfield stuff 3

Sorry I took so long but the Quad gave me enough headaches to walk away for awhile (I'm still not happy with some of the shadows on the texture but can't seem to sort it out).
Anyhoo......hope this adds to your immersion.  THEY ARE STATIC OBJECTS (I still don't know how to make 'em move).
Dodge 3/4, Quad Gun Tractor and RAF dude with flare gun (the flare is just a raised light but I'll throw a challenge out to Pablo to see if he can create a dynamic flare object).

Place the vehicle folders into your mod folder.  Place the static.ini lines at the end of your static.ini file (BACK IT UP FIRST).
Any probs/suggestions/comments....post here.

Very cool. Thank you. :)

For the flare gun guy... CY6's command and control mod has a working flare that shoots up when planes get near. It is placed on a map with an object that is a " box" maybe you could look into swithing the box with your guy.

Nice objects as all the previous created by you.

It's a nice challenge the one you involve me in. I'll suggest first try the reference mentioned by Bombsaway. If you are not lucky with it, I will try to help you, but it seems that somebody coded it in the past.

Excellent Tomoose  ;D

Great additions for the game. Very worthwhile utility vehicles used through out the war.
Now we can be that guy standing on an outside high up walkway at a control tower to shoot off a flare to say start your engines  ;)

Bombsaway/Pablo;  I was thinking more along the lines of a flare for takeoff which could be activated by a keypress or if an active object could be on a time-delay (similar to a delayed AI spawn) to go off (i.e. player is in the bomber cockpit, starts engines etc and waits for the flare prior to taking off).  Just an idea.

Maybe the flare fires when you use the Request Take-Off command?
