Greetings to everyone here on SAS,

I have a question as well as a little history.

Back in March last year Boelcke, who I consider a very very talented skinner, made the last Fw-190D-9's  to be in service with the Luftwaffe, most of them ones we didn't know about and ones that served right up until May 1945. He released all of them except one skin. Werk Num 500666. Now this one was a part of a batch built by Fieseler, commonly this aircraft is known as Yellow 15 of Jagdgeshwader 301 and attached is a picture of her from his forum on Axis and Allies paintworks, which were part of the other skins that he released in the same period. Now I have tried to contact Boelcke on many occasions but all have failed. 

This guy has been putting in lock stock and blazing barrels into campaigns and Defense of the Reich campaigns from 1943 to 1945 which I play and they are magnificently done, and I feel that this skin SHOULD be part of it. 

If you have any more questions or answers into my inquiry I am always open to anything from anyone, and any reply is deeply appreciated.

Btw it wasnt a Fieseler built machine, 500xxx was a Mimetal production batch.

Sir this is an honor, I have been following you for years! this is incredible.

Thankyou for getting back to me, I just looked around on Asisbiz and I grab a lot of skins from there, including most of your older works which are still perfect to this day I might add. But I was just inquiring into it thats all. 

And of course 500XXX batch fighters were midmetal. Apologies for that, I wasn't thinking correctly.

I give credit where its due sir as I know you definitely deserve it which what you have done for IL2 over the years!

I will give it a few days and I will message you sir....IF nothing comes through, I am a little confident though. 

Trust me I understand that some skins do go out of the window in some requests as like you said are too much in demand or are made too frequently.

I would like to ask also, as a bit of a random question, would you skin any other Dora's or re-vamp some of your older skins? like JG/54 ''Grunhertz'' Doras? I know you virtually re did every one of your D-9's in Gotterdammerung, as well as the Chevron D-11 and Goetz's D-13. 

But its just a fan question thats all

I think you should re do a couple more Dora re-vamps Phas3e, because with what you have done with your latest magic techniques, I think and a few others will agree that some of your older skins could do with a make over exactly like Gotterdammerung and also your latest single skin releases, two rare skins I have of yours which I may send you in a PM, and these skins haven't been done by anyone else but yourself it turns out are

White 16 of JG/2 Werk Num 500536
Black 4 of JG/2 Werk Num 400271.

And Ice, welcome to the party sir! that stunning Dora you have there is a D-13/R11 belonging to Franz Gotz in 1945, the same aircraft that has been skinned so many times! But if that baby is yours! Fantastic work!!

I don't play CLOD as the controls make no sense as well as the limitations of variety of aircraft unlike '46. Which is a pity but hey.

Do you skin Focke Wulfs often? or do you stick to Messerschmitt's legend?
