During the era of the "Belle Epoque" in all states flourished Fortifications of the places of passage obliged, in many cases during WWI were overtaken by advanced in other cases constituted the pivot of defensive systems, in this Mod is a typical example of Fort in low-lying places.

An old fort from the Low Countries - Belgium, Netherlands, etc.

It looks useful. Map modders could re texture it to fit in w the surrounding texes.

Very close to where I live there is such a fortification ( finished 1895) build on an artificial island.
