DIVEGUY43... I remember having this problem with UV3 sound mod om. Once UV3 disabled, no more problem.

New 3d is very nice ! now, what we just miss is... skins for this beauty !

I don't know if it's linked to Tinger33 sound or to Wheels Fix....

As said before, UV3 sound mod related. Try to desactivate it, and it should be back to normal. I had the same problem on one of my installs...

*Problem solved*

I just removed the files (Engine1_D0.msh ; Engine2_D0.msh ; Engine3_D0.msh ; Engine4_D0.msh) located in :
C:\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\#DBW\_0_0TigersSOUNDSforDBW\3do\Plane\Lancaster
and C:\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\#DBW\_UV3\3do\Plane\Lancaster

The Lancaster with those buggy engines, almost looks like a Mk. VI griffon engine version.

Looks great!I have a DBW install & have tried replacing the Lanc in the DBW folder with this one in several different ways:1.) simply replacing the Lancaster folder& disabling the Tallboy patch or adding the 3do to the old Lancaster version folder,but either way the plane doesn't show up in game-I get the familiar 'Lost Horizon effect" of a bad install.I must have missed a step somewhere . Perhaps its not compatable with 4.11?Can someone suggest a solution? thanks! :-\

Obviously I'm running into similar problems as earlier posts,with both engines & skins:

So far as I'm able to tell I have none of the sound mods that are mentioned earlier in which to change engine mesh files & I have tried the fix but that doesn't seem to change much.I am still fiddling around with my DBW install to see if there isn't some sort of overlap ( perhaps a double install of the Lanc?) that may be causing this hangup.Does anyone else have an idea.It sure is a pretty cleanup of an already nice bird- would love to get it working! ;)
