Hi Benno-- try a little roll forward from your initial position on the runway before locking the tail wheel. As it was IRL ;)

Otherwise, too much rudder almost all the way down the runway (for me anyway).

You think it would be possible to have the Grand Slam? I have the Model for that one to, but the only problem is, the Bomb Bay doors were removed to fit it.

+10000 for that! I had once requested that Grand Slam 22,000 lb monster and it would be really nice to arm ingame Lanc with it

Thanks, again, to those who have worked and, it appears, who are still working on the Lanc.  Having logged 17 hours on a 2-day Lanc mission back in '64, it's a treat for me to 'fly' the Lanc, again.  As a computor neanderthal, the Tallboy patch was not easy to make work, but it is now fully functional.  A QMB mission on the Crimea map [I needed a long concrete runway to get airborne] led to a Tallboy attack on the Sebastopol airfield:  20 AAA were wiped out by the blast.
One small item on the Lanc needs a minor correction, however.  When taxying and using brake and rudder to turn, the tailwheel actually turns as if to swing the Lanc's tail in the direction you want to steer the aircraft; as a result, the aircraft nose wants to turn in a direction opposite to what you want.  Given the lack of differential power and selective wheel braking, this tendency makes taxying much more difficult than it could/should be.  Can this reaction of the tailwheel to rudder input be reversed by some adept programmer, please?
Otherwise, Well Done!

Hi everyone,
'noticed a little bug in this big beauty: when damaged it loses its nose gun turret; has anyone noticed this problem too? joy to fly anyway!

Just make sure you're not in it then!

During refurbishing work in our new flat, there were probs with a weird broken ceiling. The owners father came to explain why the roof had some cracks. In 1944, during an RAF bombraid on Hildesheim a so called "Luftmine" crashed into the roof without exploding, just standing there like an old boiler. The fragile boiler was lifted to the streets. 4 men were needed to move this heavy load. Some scarves at the wooden deck remained from this accident, leaving our bathroom ceiling unstable, non-critical instablibillity, but leading to wavy walls, hehe.
Everytime the chimney cleaner comes to visit, I fear the ceramics fall apart, as he lurks under the roof. Luckily these guys are feitherweight champions, not to think about adipeuse people dancing there.
