I've looked through this thread and please forgive me if this is common knowledge, but is there a way to use this with the jgsme mod enabler? I've tried following the install instructions but I think because i'm using jgsme I have more than one plane.ru's and the other files that need to be modified so I've tried adding the lines to a couple of them but the plane still doesn't show up.

Create a folder Mods, so there adds mods (Lancaster), adds STD. Download this program: FREE TEXT PAD, which you can use to modify files  weapons.ru and planes.ru.

i dont have a addtext file that is the only reason i cant seem to add this plane can someone post it for me ? the one below the download isnt working

You can use notepad, wihich is an integrated part of windows to edit .ini files, right-click the file and choose notepad as editor!

thank you but got a new problem. the air.ini   Lancaster         air.LANCASTER 1                       NOINFO  gb01  SUMMER doesnt seem to work, the game will load fine once i put two "//" infront of it. but there is no readme file within the lancaster download file. so what do i do to fix this problem ?? im very new to modding,i modded the wellington on the same way i did the lanc,and the wellington works,but the lanc wont,it seems to be something with the air.ini for the lanc. help ??

Go here https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,97.0.html, download the buttons 7z file, find your ..\gui\game folder, open the file with winzip, 7zip or whatever packager you have, copy the file "buttons" inside the SAS_offline_buttons folder into the ...\game folder after making a backup of the old "buttons", then you should be good to go!

As a rule I have no problens D/Ling from SAS but for some reason I an unable to get this bomber. I have reset my PC twice and I can D/L other files just not this one. Oh well such is life.

make sure you have the up to date buttons file. which is 7.5 , this was my problem as 7.41 came out before version 2 came out of this lancaster. get 7.5 and you should have it.make sure u have correct air.ini lines aswell.

hi i ve installed the lancaster mod and the buttons file but my game crashes in the 60% loading screen, could ve i done anything wrong?
