Hey all,


I was looking through the internet and I found this, which is a Dora that has NEVER been skinned before. She is Black 5 of JG/26.

I hunted around for more info on this fighter and apart from the sole image of when she was captured in 45 there is nothing else, even my old ''Adler'' book from the 70's didn't dig up anything on her.  You will find the real image and a side view in the attachments below.

Interesting it has the last 3 digits of the werk number on the prop blade, and the blotted out markings and ID.

I agree, Maybe the US army did it for recognition as to how many Dora's they found over a period of time, or maybe they did it to verify its Werk num.

I seen 109s With werks on the prop blade right from the factory, but never on a FW190. Looks to me this kite and it's pilot surrendered, rather then being captured.

I would be surprised to see that this bird has never been skinned, theres a number of post war photos of it and its covered in both Japo and Eagle Editions Dora books. Yes it was one of the surrendered machines at Flensburg which makes me think that RDDR may have skinned this before for his pack, its also possible the fuselage still exists in private storage.

Phas3e, I have asked and looked around on every skin site, it doesn't exist. In fact it is a bird that has been rarely touched on. It may have been done many years ago but probably the file has long since gone.

The only Black 5 I have from RDDR is N° 210053 from JG54, I have a few other Black 5s but not this JG26 one ...
