Yep, it's a mod...I believe it's PA_Jeronimo's cowling engine & props replacer. I assumed that most people on this site were using UP, DBW or TFM which includes that mod. It uses it's own .tga for the engine internals, so that area on the .bmp was effectively 'dead space'. I'll add the engine bits back onto the template for people who don't use mods...but honestly, why wouldn't you? It makes the F4U look 110% more brilliant.

My skins and templates from now on are going to be geared towards modded 3D models...I'll just have to add a disclaimer about which ones are being used. Right now it's TFM 4.12, but soon it will be CFM 4.12...as soon as Monty finishes that little gem up :)

Glad you guys like the skin, I'm sure you'll love the template!

I use a different cowling mod, so I guess that won't work for me.
