Ya even in QMB they are not showing up. My loadouts are a combination of these weapons: aim-9 aim-7 aim-120   Mk 82LGB    JDAM84   AGM-65    And Droptanks.  I have gone through to make sure I have everything installed correctly and I believe I do. I also can find the weapons I'm missing in my modern weapons folder. The only problem I can think of right now is that I may have  missed a readme with weapon properties but I know some mods/planes don't need them

Lol..I tried taking off and going to 80%-90% and all points in-between but it didn't work at all. Any throttle setting below 100% for me means immediate altitude loss. Anything above means overheating in 20 seconds. I tried moving between 90% and up in the first thirty sec of flight and I caught fire AND blew up!!

A quick vertical take off followed by going to 60% wing as fast as feasible seems to be the best way to keep from overheating. But the problem of getting enough altitude before the switch before an engine fire still remains for me.

The FLIR is fantastic and I have full loadouts for some reason.. No graying out of weapons.

S3, is it just me, or does the F-18 C and D tend to nosedive when you throttle up with flaps at 40 degrees, at a low airspeed?
I find that carrier landings are only possible with flaps raised.  Other than that, it's great!

if it's nose dive, check your airbrake.

Yep, I can confirm that the F/A-18 lands perfectly on carriers with flaps down  ;)

Do you have a suggestion for best F18 landing speed, carrier and land based runway? I'm really having fits with landings. I do find these to be a bit more stable with no flaps. Mine dance as if on a string at center of gravity though and I'm trying various speeds and flaps settings to try and bring them down safely. Such beautiful birds!! Fantastic loadouts!

Suggestion? For ground base - Train with other planes to do perfect approaches, then switch to F-18. You have there AoA indicator, as you approach at M=0.25, place it at the beginning of the RWY and slowly, REALLY SLOWLY, slow down to M=0.18 to 0.16. When it makes a gentle (more likely not so gentle) ~thud~, open the dragchute. When your front wheel can no more stay in air, hit brakes. You'll slow down to zero. Congrats, that was a succesfull landing.

No, airbrake is definitely down, I think I need to rephrase.
When I approach at too low a speed, around 200 Km/h, my nose starts to drop, slowly.
To counter this, I throttle up to increase airspeed, but it pushes my nose down further.  This only happens after I've put my gear down, and lowered my flaps to 40 degrees.

I'll also try to re-install, and see if it helps.

you can use this videos as a guide, if other are doing okay with it, you're doing something wrong.

Excellent video. This shows that a good approach and landing is possible. The aircraft seemed well controlled and stable throughout the video. I'll be practicing!! :)
