Today, I loaded in multiplayer and BOOM!  There was the AV8 and F18.

JetEra v1.33 is not compatible to multiplayer.

I don't know what all that means.  What I do know is under the tab multiplay, create a server, connect to a server and you are in multiplayer.  It's compatible for me.  Good-luck.

This is why I stay with 1946.  It's LAN capable and no steam BS.

While on the subject of Multiplay Missions (not quick mission or full mission)...does anyone know how to get the carrier catapults working for carrier based play to use the F18s?  Or is this just not supported?

We had many sorties with 4.12 ask FMJ or Fresco23. As far as you have same set of mods, it works flawlessly. Well, when you have different versions of mods, sometimes it makes quite nice bugs...

filelist_1956_v13.txt  any idea where this goes, at the moment i cant fly the harrier, it spawns bright pink and freezes the game, the f8's list but no preview shows in the window and cant hit the fly button.

after reinstalling 5 times now im a tad confused.

i have followed instructions to the letter with all required mods for them to work

From what you say it sounds like you do not have the True Color High Res mod installed or working, that can also mean installed but something in your config.ini file prevents it to work.

If you have performance issues, one setting that may also help is:
Go to the IL-2setup.exe and open it, go to graphics:

Set texture compression, you can also do this via the config.ini:

I downloaded the patch SAS engine mod for 4.13 and the Jet Era v1.33 and the rest of the prerequisite and throw away my 4.12. And now every jet works now.
