If your running W7 and have an AMD video card in the 6000 series, go into your Windows update and delete this pain in the ass update: KB2670838. May work for other AMD cards also. THIS schizophrenic update also prevented Crysis 3 from loading after the intro. Just a little tip. Enjoy.
