In the end of the day, IL-2 is a World War 2 (WW2) combat flight simulator. The World at War (WAW) module is the most comprehensive WW2-based MOD multi-pack ever created for IL-2-1946. This post is an exclusive look at WAW. There won't be a photo-by-photo description for each picture because you can figure out what I am showcasing. Explicitly, this preview is primarily based on aircraft... and keep in mind that this is only a sampling of the materials in CUP.
Monty was graceful enough to consider some of my past MODS for inclusion in WAW. You may notice in the pictures below that there are Ki-43 "Oscar" shots in which planes carry ordinance, and the same is true for the IL-2I and IL-2T. When CUP/WAW is released you will be able to enjoy the IL-2 Field Mod '41 plane with the gunner position as playable. You will also be able to fly or include TB-3 transport planes with cargo and/or paratrooper support.
As a nice surprise (not anymore, I guess), Monty also included some of the content I released years ago, including the missions from my very first "danzigzag"-pseudonym mods, the lost G-11 and Me-321 glider missions available in the Single Mission menu (the flyable G-11 and Me-321 were my creation). Finally, my compilation of original IL-2 Demo missions as well as missions from IL-2 updates which were not included in IL-2 1946 are present in CUP/WAW. You may also notice some content similar to what you see in UberQuick Mission Generator (UQMG) because included are a few QMB templates based on UQMG templates.
Anyway, I have a tendency to write too much, and I blame that on my Latin American background. You know, a yes/no question takes at least 15 minutes for an answer.
