Hopefully, this is addressed in CUP, though QQ: 

IF the Mountain Dogfight test stock test mission is run with CUP, do the planes crash into the mountains?

BTW, the missions from that Demo, the Official Demo, and the missions from the first IL-2 pre Forgotten Battle patches are all included in CUP.  I had released those a while back but Monty was cool enough to include them in the install.
