Hello. Before downloading 30GB of files, I would like to know whether anyone has got the CUP modules working on a Steam installation of the game? Thanks.

Yes, that is what I did... please bear with me.. I'm truly unversed at this. Do I place all files for DOF (part 1-4) into the #DOF Folder then?

Kevin,  when installing the RAR compressed files, simply extract the entire contents of the RAR as they are in the RAR file.  In other words, extract the folders as folders, files as files. Example for part 4 of DOF - extract as is with #DOF folder, bin folder, JSGMEMODS folder, SFS_DOF folder as folders, do not go into them and extract their contents. The extraction process will put the folders and contents where they need to be.  Everything in the part 4 RAR file goes into the root directory of your IL-2 root directory.

If you are using 7-zip to to extract, simply open the compressed part 4 file and its contents will be displayed in the 7-zip window.  Without highlighting anything in the contents window, simply press the extract button and when 7-zip ask you where you want to copy the files to, guide it to your root Il-2 directory.  The program will do the rest.

Ahhhh yes I highlighted all the contents to extract them... thank you so much (need a sticky MODS for dummies). I also did that for Module 1, should I start the whole process over again? I'll just do it it's nothing but time. Gotta learn sometime. Thank you again.

Could someone look in their #JTW   air.ini and confirm there is no AV-8A listed?

Rod, confirmed.  I have no AV-8A listed in my JTW, air.ini.  Just the AV-8B.

Hi GreenGoblin,

I have it installed over a Steam version of the game. Actually, my 4.12.2 backup install is a copy of my original Steam install (which I've installed a basic ModAct 5.3 on). I've installed CUP over another instance of that copy and it worked out fine (for as far as I can tell).

I would be you, I would do kind of the same. With Steam's auto-updating actived by default, it'll ruin your CUP install (you may know that already... :) ).

Someone try this mission in jets era and check why i have CTD after some minutes . Error is 6DoF stop to work

Hunter, I tried the mission a couple times with and without my TrackIr active and it worked fine...

The version I downloaded is LeO451_v1.3_412.

I wasn't aware that there was a specific 4.12 version available, I had been using the 4.09 version (Many 4.09 versions work in 4.12).  I'll have to give it a try.  Right now I'm gathering additional aircraft and the stationary versions for the planes I have added or will add in the 3rd adder.  When I put it together I'll test the 4.12 version of the LeO451.   
 
If you or anyone else has suggestions for the future "#WAW_3rd adder" I would appreciate hearing them.  I can't create anything, but I certainly can include existing mod aircraft in my "adders".  It would be very helpful if a reference is also included with a request.   No promises as I have already found some planes caused problems with my first two adders, i.e., some planes don't "play well" together.

I'll be leaving on a trip soon so there will probably be at least a couple of weeks (the infamous '2 weeks') delay getting "#WAW_3rd adder" put together and tested.  Testing actually takes the most time.

Is there going to be a CUP Campaigns and Missions download area?  Is there a list of Campaings and Missions that already work with this great Mod?
