Hey!

Since I am new to the "Jet War" part of this CUP installation, can someone clue me in on how do I lock on and fire air-to-air or air-to-surface missiles?

Hi guys, I am having a problem downloading the larger files in module 1. The first 5 files say they are in excess of 2 gigs but they are only 639 MB after downloading and show as corrupt when I try to unzip them. Has anyone had any experience this this problem?

Thanks much!

Ogs,

Did you try the Torrent version of the files?

https://www.mediafire.com/download/b3taat6qs87mi64  (new v2 Torrent Version)

You can chose just the one you need.

The Mediafire files require authentication which is a tad annoying.
But that said they should all be complete if the download is good.

Victor, the first thing to do is make sure you have a key assigned for "Select Missile/Rocket".  Press this key to select which missile type you want active and then just fly toward your enemy.  The game will report that the missile is armed/locked and then you can fire.  Sometimes you will get an audible tone depending on the missile and strength of the "lock".  Oh yeah, also be sure you have a loadout that includes missiles and assign keys for chaff and flares.   :P

Unfortunately, there is a problem with some of the jets and they will not arm properly.  Hopefully, someone that knows how will fix this problem in the future.  Start with a jet like the F-18 so you know what you should see.  It works well...

I just started a separate thread for my adders.   Which includes "#WAW_4th adder v2"  I call the new thread ...

"JSGME Aircraft Additions to C.U.P. WAW Module-03 World at War"

You can find it at:

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,45858.msg512326.html#msg512326

This will make it much easier to keep track any changes I make to the "adders" and  I hope to get feedback regarding what should be in the 5th adder.

Thanks for your interest ... tooslow

Dear Tooslow,
could you explain how I have to proceed in order to add your adders?
Best regards

Hi tartenmuche,

Just download them - theres 4 now then unzip them directly into the JSGME folder in your main IL2 directory. They are then activated through the jsgme.exe which you'll find in your main IL2 folder.

Activate them in order one at a time - clicking yes to any overwrite messages, this can take several minutes depending on your PC so be patient they will complete eventually
