In another post https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,45633.0.html?PHPSESSID=6d26524530fa9c5b54545c064c1294d4 Monty has spoken about a set of jet training
....
Yup they are there and have been playing them.

Hmmm???  I don't see those missions either.  In fact, I don't even have a "UM" folder in my "Missions/Single" directory??????  All my CUP checksum's seem correct.  Anyone else?

I'm in the same boat  - No USMC folder in Missions/Single/
However-
Monty in his post shown above,  did say they were under            SINGLE-MISSIONS/USMC/Harrier Training and Hornet Training?

I wonder if we are looking in the wrong place?? \Root folder of CUP\ missions\single\  ??

Yes you are and they are in plain sight. If you two can not find/see them ask nicely and I just might bundle them up and put a link up

Ok, I give up!  If you have the time, I would appreciate a link to the files.  I see the mission referenced in the CUP manual called "The Hornet's Nest" and it says it is included with JTW as a QMBPro mission???  But I can't find it!

Thanks

regarding the P-47 issue I do not have those problems, but I admit that I use Freddy´s pits from ages ago on my TBolts; look way better than stock and they work with the 3.14 fix and eliminate any issues;
can any other user confirm these problems?

hey there,

sorry for the little confusing report, there are so many different P-47 models that come from various different mods, that i got confused - my info provided was correct, but i figured out that the P-47D-30 is NOT affected by those other P-47D mods i mentioned.

now i fixed the loading of the P-47D-30 cockpit by adding

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,8622.0.html  [P47D Late Versions 30 and 40 Mod from SAS]

to my #WaW. I usually only fly japanese and have those Americans as my "targets" but i love to have things working and figure out why stuff doesn't work (or works like i think they should :-) )... which sometimes makes me a little annoying i guess. haha. because i am so focused on details.

so if anyone has problems with the late P-47s or with that effects problems mentioned in my former posting... there's a way to fix it now :D

i am pretty happy with the way my CUP installation works now, even tough i kind of heavily modded it myself with fixes and little things here and there (which makes updating hard - all the ini files and such - but still doable) - i am finally able to plan working on some missions.

i decided to try to make some complete CUP exclusive QMB packages with my favorite maps - trying to use the full spectrum of available QMB mission types (with various versions of each, for more randomness) and included CUP mods like the ambient sounds etc.

I found an issue. In DOF, the Zeppelin Staaken cannot carry bombs. I cheched the weapons_ru.ini (or weapons.ini, I don't remember now the name of it), and it says that it should carry bombs (well, it is a bomber!  ;) )

Anybody has this issue?

Concerning the JTW Hornet and Harrier training missions:

I cannot find them anywhere although I've searched for them:
- In CUP-Missions folders.
- Using Find tool in Windows.
- In the original unzipped CUP files.

Only in C.U.P. Module 04 - The Jet Age Pt04 I've found a Missions folder, including Campaign, Net, Quick, QuickQMBPro and Single folders.
Campaign and Single folders only include awards, background, icon and rank files. No missions inside. Moreover, in Single folders there is even no UM folder, only UN and US. I've checked the byte size of Pt04 file and it seems to be correct.

Some people reported that they actually see those missions in their installations, but I wonder where they came from.
If someone could put a link to them or discovers that they are 'hidden' somewhere, I would be very grateful.
Thanks a lot!

Can someone give me a heads up on a fix for the AI crashing into the ground or mountains?
I am sure I read here someone else had this issue and can't remember if there was a fix for it.
I have been through all 112 pages,  twice now and cannot find it?
It may also be good to know  if there is not a fix for it and then I can move on..
Appreciate any help

<snip...>

"Open/Close Side Hatch"   Anybody???

creature, sorry this reply is to a question about a week old but I just saw it while searching for something else   :P

Anyway, I've got good news and bad news.  First, the "Open/Close Side Hatch works on some planes.  Try it on the "Spitfire F.Mk22, 1945"  It works fine for me.  Now the bad news, I can't get the control key that I enter (Ctrl H) to stay there after quitting the game!  When I load it up again, the key is gone???   :(

When I go to "Users/my pilot name/settings.ini", it is listed in there like this= "Ctrl H=Open/Close Side Hatch".  So it has been saved but it doesn't load back into the game when re-started???  I do NOT have this problem with any other operation in the control screen.  When I enter a new control key for anything else, it is still there upon re-start.

Can anyone else get this control operation to retain it's entered key upon re-start?  If so, how did you do it?

This post here is for more planes on carrier,
but the part about replacing the EngMod should
help to avoid the AI ground crash.
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,45582.msg509707.html#msg509707

So as first step replace the EngMod only and
give it a try.
