Hi bryans,

Please take another look at your logfile again.
The errors you've posted are actually all the same.
It's repeatedly
Code: [Select]
java.lang.RuntimeException: unknown exception in hierMesh
at com.maddox.il2.engine.HierMesh.isVisualRayHit(Native Method)
at com.maddox.il2.engine.HierMesh.isVisualRayHit(HierMesh.java:537)
at com.maddox.il2.game.VisibilityChecker.computeVisibility(VisibilityChecker.java:255)
at com.maddox.il2.objects.effects.SunGlare.computeIntegratedSunFlash(SunGlare.java:214)
at com.maddox.il2.objects.effects.SunGlare.render(SunGlare.java:235)
at com.maddox.il2.engine.Renders.doPaint(Renders.java:412)
at com.maddox.il2.engine.Renders.paint(Renders.java:253)
at com.maddox.il2.engine.RendersTicker.msgTimeOut(Renders.java:637)
at com.maddox.rts.MsgTimeOut.invokeListener(MsgTimeOut.java:73)
at com.maddox.rts.Message._send(Message.java:1217)
at com.maddox.rts.Message.sendToObject(Message.java:1191)
at com.maddox.rts.Message.sendTo(Message.java:1134)
at com.maddox.rts.Message.trySend(Message.java:1115)
at com.maddox.rts.Time.loopMessages(Time.java:252)
at com.maddox.rts.RTSConf.loopMsgs(RTSConf.java:101)
at com.maddox.il2.game.MainWin3D.loopApp(MainWin3D.java:131)
at com.maddox.il2.game.Main.exec(Main.java:439)
at com.maddox.il2.game.GameWin3D.main(GameWin3D.java:235)
and nothing else.
But that kind of error never appears without something going on before, so please take a look what other errors there are in your log since that one is just a result of something else.

Please as soon an somebody can tell me what's going on I would be very fretful, I want nothing more than to fly a mission in these birds without this issue!
We'd like to tell you, but the crystal ball is occupied at the moment.
Some thousand users downloaded, installed and used these planes without a "transparent wings" issue, so at the moment all I can say is that there's something wrong on your side.
Maybe you want to read the readme carefully and reinstall the Jugs again.
Maybe you want to tell us more about the bug, e.g. logfile contents, screenshots or whatever else could help us to reproduce that issue.

Best regards - Mike

Lol OK I will take a closer look. I guess I will start from the top and head down until something else shows up. All this info that is not understood by me in the log is a little overwhelming so I did not take a close look at what was going on and just headed to the bottom where and scrolled up to find the first exception java line but they just keep showing up, I guess that makes sense since they are the same! So forgive my newb questions shall I start from the top after those FM errors and go from there until I see a different error than what I've already posted? Thanks for your patience and for helping me figure this out.

And p.s I will do a fresh install of everything being very careful. This was my first mod aircraft install so the possibility of me being the cause in probably likely, but I will give it another go before I waste anymore of your time or forum space. Great work on these a/c by the way. The jug has always been me favorite bird of the war and was never pleased with the off performance of any of the stock 47s.

You can as well just upload your full log.lst file to mediafire and provide a download link here.

Hi just an update, I'm still trying to find time to upload my log which I will do tonight. But the other day out of curiosity I installed pa jeronimos engine cowl and prop mod knowing it will most likely conflict with the jugs, and long behold after letting my aircraft get shot down 10 times I could no longer reproduce the screen freezez when taking damage everything seemed to work fine except for the transparent wings at distance of other 47s. Only the d30 d40 and M blocks, its seemes the aircraft that retain the default or stock vosiual hence the d and d27 this weird dissapearing wing anomoly doesn't happen. I know in my first attempt to post the log the first lines in the log read something like can't find gdo gearmesh and bullet holes.bat or something of that nature. Anyway I'll get the log up later was just trying to give some info on the issue.
