Anti-tank warfare mission pack
« on: March 22, 2015, 07:18:01 AM »

8 semi fictional 'instant action type' missions just for the fun of blowing up large number of tanks.
If you got TFM-412, CUP, HSFX7 or a well upgraded SAS modact you should be able to run these missions. For the full experience I recommend cyberolas and redkos map repaints (Ardennes, Stalingrad, Prokhorovka, Sands of time).

-Battle of France 1940
-Barbarossa 1-2 1941
-North Africa 1942
-Stalingrad 1942
-Kursk 1943
-Falaise gap 1944
-Germany 1945

Love these missions - particularly the Typhoon/Falaise mission - thanks! However, just an odd glitch or two (I'm using CUP). When I start the missions the engine is off. Also sometimes when I select a mission, the briefing screen doesn't load the map but when I go out and back in again, it's there! Anyone else have this?

Hi porschefan,

Didn't you get other errors apart from the ones you mention?

I'm running CUP too and I have imported those missions. I've had to make quite a bit of tweaking in the mis files to get rid of the errors. Mine were about missing planes or incorrect class names in the mis files (when imported in CUP of course). I was getting clear error messages when loading the briefings (at least for the A-26/B-26 issue).

First, there's no A-26 in CUP. Only the B-26. I've had to change the name of the class in the impacted mission mis files.
Second, several J-87 class names are different in CUP. In CUP Ju-87 G1, D5, etc. have a "j" at the end of their class names.
Finally, for the B-26, I found that one of the proposed loads (don't remember the mission) with rockets and napalm does not exist in CUP. I assume that is because we get the B-26 which is the bomber version of that plane, and it's not really intended to get attack, low-level bombing loads. Personnally, I've replaced it with a 16x300lbs load.

With these fixes, the missions seemed to be OK. I have had no time to really try them though.

Hi Polo,

To be honest I just got as far as trying the Tiffie, Hurricane and the Ju87 missions. They seemed OK apart from the glitches I mentioned. Looks like I'll have to play around a bit with the mission builder. Thanks for the tips!  :)

In CUP Ju-87 G1, D5, etc. have a "j" at the end of their class names.

Thats a very serious bug because none of the eastern front dgen campaigns gonna work.

Thank you very much for this extraordinary mission pack. I have adapted the mission of the Hurricanes in the desert to fly it with my squad mates, making it a dogfight mission. Here is the result of the experiment.

Again thank you very much. Regards

Great idea!!! We need more like this. This could be the beginning of a series: torpedoes, vive-bombing, strafing, etc  :P
