Problem with sound - only some aircrafts

Some aircrafts (P.11C, Piper) lost their sound engine, when You put throttle at 0% while on the ground.
There was a such issue in DBW 1.71, it was solved - but I don't remember solution...

I have noticed this also as i run through CUP's different aircraft.
Some aircraft have very low engine sounds and other aircraft have MG/Cannon sounds that
are not distinguishable as firing sounds....   some sound more like a   bb gun  air mg's might sound...

I wonder if the Dev's would be interested in making  a dedicated thread where we'all could notate those different aircraft
that we find which are experiencing those low'/poor sounds...

just a thought...

i just tried this with the p.11c and the engine sound was always audible, naturally i haven't tested every single plane, but i have not yet discovered a plane without engine sound, or where the engine sound stopped somehow (i fly and use mainly JP/US pacific planes).

maybe this is a setup problem?

Are You sure that P.11c has audible engine sound on the ground, when throttle is at 0% (idle)?
I was trying so long...

maybe this is a setup problem?
I don't know, my setting in conf.ini are like these described in Monty's CUP manual.
But I'll try again...

i can't record videos (never tried), but i just tested 4 squadrons with 4 P.11c each, 3 squadrons parked, 1 flying over them, with some additional ambient sounds (airport noise, forest noise etc) - just to see if anything will break.

i heard the 4 planes flying over me, the ambient noises, then i started my engine, cocks in, throttled to 100% and back to 0. the idle sound is audible in cockpit and external views, then my wingmen started their engines. their idling sound is pretty low from my cockpit view, especially when i am idling too (since its the same sound), one after another all of the 11 other p.11cs started their engines and rolled around to the runway. from cockpit and external and flyby i was able to hear my and their planes and i got no error messages in the console log.

really hard to say what is happening here, i tuned my conf.ini for CUP too, hmm. do you have the "sas_sound_01.sfs" and "sas_sound_02.sfs" in your SFS_AUTO folder? this is really just a wild guess. i hope there will be others who can help you better!

Very strange,

stock P.11C sound is still not audible in my CUP setup.
But I think it is incompatibility with Tiger sound mod (?), because when I installed this one P.11 C https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,21041.0.html in separate slot, everything is OK.
But this mod has its own engine sounds (Bristol Mercury).
BTW, I have these files "sas_sound_01.sfs" and "sas_sound_02.sfs" in my SFS_AUTO folder.
