I did a new complete install from disc to CUP Mod 2 plus DOF patch 04b. All patches were new downloads
It still takes 8 minutes to get from selector to main menu for DOF.
I select Stock game - 30 seconds
I select Modact 5.3 - 34 seconds
I have that almost infinite loop of loading FMs.

From my initlog.lst
2015-03-26 13:49:03:661 (wrapper) : ThreadDetach, attached Threads = 10
2015-03-26 13:56:11:122 (wrapper) : ThreadAttach, attached Threads = 11

If it is just me I will deal and fly on

Sir Rod posted in Community Universal Patch (C.U.P.) pg 97 #1155 he had changed his Log in config back to Log=0. I changed mine back and now I have a respectable 1 minute load
time. Thank you, Sir Rod.
